The manager at Kingstree Huddle in South Carolina is ridiculous she gets mad at the employee because she was saying something about using a register to clock out and she wasn’t rude at all. The manager was saying a lot of rude this to the employee. You have to treat people how you want to be treated but she’s ridiculous. I went in there this Morning and ask for the employee and another employee said she don’t work here no more I feel that’s not right...

I was there for food after ordering the lady split the ticket and created 2 transactions. In short I was charged twice for the 2 different transactions. I was in the huddle house in McCormick SC on January 25th 2020.

Hello --- we feel you, AND THE STORE MANAGER at the location above, should be aware of the situation at the Brooksville Huddle House. Not only is the service lackluster at best, but the oversight of the kitchen manager is ZERO. On this past Saturday, after having unfavorable experiences twice prior, we decided to try one more time. It was a disaster: 1) One order was the "platter" with 3 eggs "up", bacon, sausage, grits or hashbrowns, (took the hashbrowns) and toast. Meal was delivered to the table ... no meat. Cold eggs, cold toast. Meat was then hollered to the kitchen -- I need a side of bacon and sausage. 2) Second order was the Philly cheesesteak omelet. Grits for the side. Rye toast - "dry" / no butter. Meal delivered: grits cold and would not even melt the butter on them; rye "toast" barely warm and no "toast" color at all, two pieces stuck together with so much butter it was like a sandwich -- and it wouldn't melt in the cold bread. The server came back by because we had asked for extra napkins and finally brought the bacon and sausage for the first order. He was about to dash off and I said "Wait a minute! ... these (grits) are cold and I asked for well browned toast with NO butter." He took off with the grits saying "I'll stick 'em in the microwave." Toast was left on the table. A few minutes later ... he comes back to tell me that someone in the kitchen FORGOT to make extra grits "this morning" and they're making some now but it will be a bit." (aren't they made FRESH every morning ?????) I said "Forget it." He offered the fruit or hashbrowns. I refused. The last time I had the fruit it was soured; the hashbrowns tasted like the metal of the grill. So for the $$ I had "the omelet." Finally I got some toast. 3) Servers should be INSTRUCTED and TAUGHT and SUPERVISED to NOT call patrons "honey", "sweetie", or any other 'personal endearment.' This is not only most inappropriate, but also disrespectful. My husband is allowed to call me such things, but NOT a server, male or female (they all do it). I do not appreciate being addressed this way. Patrons should be addressed with courtesy -- m'am, sir, or nothing at all. The servers need to remember that we pay their salaries ... for this I leave minimal compensation. 4) The restaurant, a made-over Pizza Hut, is totally leaking on one side from rain and water collection in the ceiling. Buckets were everywhere along the window ledge, and on a couple tables. Wood is peeling up off the window ledge, and ceiling overhang above the windows is peeling, sagging, bubbling and falling apart. Bottom line: the Manager needs to take better control. Training needs a lot of improvement, and the kitchen needs to READ the orders and complete them as ordered. In full. Someone needs to review each order as it is set out to be sure it is complete before leaving the kitchen. Food needs to be HOT when served. If it sits and cools, that means there is not enough help and certainly not enough attention to the detail of getting the orders out instead of doing other things. Sorry to send such a report, but that's the way it is and we will not plan to experience a Huddle House again ... and will be sure to let our friends know.

what a total cluster new manager doesn't have a clue took forever just to get drinks waited a really long time never got bfast plenty of people that came in after us ate and left we walked out with out bfast will be a long long time before we go back have to find a nother place for bfast

Never eat there

My sister and two OF her family membet ate dinner there oN TUESDAY JAN.14, 2020 around 5 or 6:00. They ordered their dinner, the food locker was locked and someone had to be called to unlock? Their meat was brought, in awhile the potato was brought, little later, vegetable was brought. And the food was cold, because my sister is elderly, 89, and doesn't like to complain, she paid the bill. They should have left but she was tired from doctor appointments, wanted to eat and get home. This is Unacceptable, sorry service, and your staff needs to be addressed about this horrible service and waste of her money, and she even left a tip!!!!

We went to huddle house on crystal river fl. From minute we got there we should of left. 4 tables with peopl eating upon arrival our table was cleaned of dishes but still dirty waitress comes and then she said oh I need to wipe this no problem then she fills our drinks and tells she will be back for our order she had mother table that she as attending too ok fine. She comes takes our order about 10 minutes later the cook comes in the door and said she just printed your ticket sorry ok no problem then my son ordered the peanut butter pancakes it came out like it was *** on and burned on other side hanging off platter his eggs he ordered sunny side up they came out white runny the waitress was a joke and the cook said well in our defense we had a long night . Each time we go there its a pitiful situation never again will we eat at the restaurant . Always dirty poor waitresses and the cook he deserved the tip for trying

It took my husband and I 45 minutes to get breakfast Sunday morning January 5 2020 the cook didn’t act like he knew what he was doing 45 minutes later cook was cold I will not eat here again on the the weekend Sevice is much better during the week
